Format the axes on a graph using the Axes tab in the Format: Graph dialog box. (If DHTML is disabled, you use the Format: Graph panel.)
The following settings are available:
Axes Values and Scales:
Y1 Axis Values - Use Manual Setting for: Select the check boxes to display the scale of the graph next to the Y1-axis. You can override the automatically generated values by specifying the following:
Maximum Value: Select the check box and specify the maximum value to use on the scale.
Minimum Value: Select the check box and specify the minimum value to use on the scale.
Grid Interval: Select the check box
and specify the steps to use on the scale. This determines the interval
between values on the axis.
Note: When you export a graph report or document
that contains a graph to Excel, to have the exported graph report or document
look exactly the same as it does in Web, type maximum and minimum Y1-axis
values manually in Web.
Y2 Axis Values - Use Manual Setting for: Select the check boxes to display the scale of the graph next to the Y2-axis. You can override the automatically generated values by specifying the following:
Maximum Value: Select the check box and specify the maximum value to use on the scale.
Minimum Value: Select the check box and specify the minimum value to use on the scale.
Grid Interval: Select the check box and specify the steps to use on the scale. This determines the interval between values on the axis.
Dual Y Options:
Assign odd series to Y1 axis and even series
to Y2 axis: Specify that the odd series on the graph are
assigned to the Y1-axis, while the even series on the graph are assigned
to the Y2-axis. For example, the following series appear on your graph
report: 2008 Q1 Revenue Forecast,
2008 Q1 Revenue, 2008 Q2 Revenue Forecast, 2008 Q2 Revenue
With this option selected, 2008 Q1 Revenue Forecast and 2008 Q2
Revenue Forecast are assigned to the Y1-axis, while 2008 Q1 Revenue and
2008 Q2 Revenue are assigned to the Y2-axis.
Manually assign series to each axis: Specify which axis will display each series. You can move any series from the primary to the secondary axis and vice versa. Click Swap to move the objects from one axis to the other.
