The Mobile options in the Layout Properties section of the Properties dialog box let you specify layout options for a document displayed in MicroStrategy Mobile, such as whether the layout can be displayed in a portrait or landscape orientation on the iPhone or iPad, or whether the layout is used as an Information Window in a Map widget. The options are described below:
iPhone and iPad
Supported Orientations: Specify the orientations in which the layout can be displayed on the iPhone. The options are:
Portrait and Landscape: The layout can be displayed in a portrait or landscape view.
Portrait Only: The layout can only be displayed in a portrait view (height is greater than width).
Landscape Only: The layout can only be displayed in a landscape view (width is greater than height) .
Optimize layout for micro application: Determine whether or not to optimize the layout for display in an iPhone application. Optimizing the document layout prevents users from performing actions such as zooming in or out of the document, which allows you to better control the user’s experience and interaction with the document.
Display page-by bar: Determine whether or not to display the page-by bar. Users can tap a button on the page-by bar on the iPhone to select a page-by element to display.
iPhone
Display the filter button: Determine whether or not to display the filter button when the layout is displayed on the iPhone. The filter button allows users to change their prompt answers.
Use as Information Window for the map widget: Determine whether or not the layout can be used as an Information Window in a Map widget. You can use Information Windows to provide additional information about locations displayed on the map. For more information and steps to create an Information Window, see Defining an Information Window in a Map widget.
